Kim Hill is an award-winning writer, editor and public relations practitioner with a proven track record in the fields of journalism and PR.

 

As a PR practitioner, Kim has experience in establishing and maintaining media contacts, writing news releases, creating newsletters and brochures, and managing production of a quarterly publication. She’s also written copy for marketing materials, supervised writers and photographers, and coordinated VIP appearances.

 

As a media professional, Kim was an assistant editor at Phoenix Home & Garden magazine and reported for a community newspaper in Missouri. Her freelance work has appeared in a wide variety of local, regional and national publications, including Arizona Highways, American Girl and Storyworks, a publication of Scholastic Inc. She is a regular contributor to Phoenix Home & Garden and American Spirit.

 

Kim earned a master’s degree from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. She taught Writing for Public Relations at ASU, and also served as a faculty associate in the journalism program at Mesa Community College.
